The reliable and durable Konecranes Straddle Carriers can be used for handling all sea transport ISO containers with lengths of 20, 30, 35, 40 and 45ft and a height of up to 9'6". The vehicles provide a high level of productivity at optimal drive and hoisting speeds. With its short lift time, low operating costs and minimal maintenance expenses, this equipment is suited for high-capacity container handling.

Konecranes Straddle Carriers can stack containers up to four high (4 high = one over three containers), and they are also suitable for the loading and unloading of lorries and railway cars. The devices are equipped for the installation of telescope spreaders for single, twin or long-twin operation. Handling one container in a twin-lift position, for example during a reefer operation, is also possible.

The Straddle Carriers are designed utilizing modular standard components, and they feature a future orientated diesel-electric (DE) drive and hoist concept.
